Shower trays, sometimes called shower bases or shower pans, come in many different sizes and shapes, ranging from sqaure enclsoures, rectangular enclosures or offset or quadrant enclosures which are enclosures where one side is longer than the other with a curved front edge. These offset quadrant trays are particularly helpful in situations where space is particularly limited or the bathroom is a long corridor shape.Shower trays are made from a variety of materials such as acrylic, glass, ceramic, wood and stone.
It is important that your shower is stain resistant and will repel all mould and mildew, this is more hygenic and always offers minimal maintenance. All of our trays can be installed with the minimum of effort but if you are unsure we recommend getting a plumber in to do the fitting for you.
Your choice of tray shape and style is very much dependant on the available space you have, take a while to look at some of our complete enclosures to get an idea of just what will fit in your bathroom. Remember when planning that if your bathroom is untiled you should allow for the tiling and grout.
Slim line shower trays are a very popular style of tray as these provide a nice unobtrusive look to your bathroom and shower area. These low profile trays can give the impression of a more wetroom look to your showering area.
