Step 1 - Checking the bath

1 Check the bath is level, on all sides (The bubble should be in the centre of the two lines on the spirit level).
2. Stand in the bath and check there is no adverse movement.
3. The walls should be tiled and grouted up to the bath.
4. The tiles and the bath should be sealed with the bath full of water, using bathroom sealant.
• Spray the seal and joints with the shower head and check for leaks when the silicone has cured.
• Check the plumbing for leaks.
• Do not Plasterboard over the bath.
• Do not grout the tiles when the enclosure has been fitted as the grout may discolour the aluminium profiles.
• When all of the above criteria is complete please proceed to the next step in these instructions.

Step 2 - Determining the position of the Wall Profile.

1. Dry fit the folding bath screen on top of the bath, place the leading edge of the fixed panel just over the inside edge of the bath as illustrated above.
2. Using a pencil mark lightly where the aluminium vertical profile touches the tiled wall and bath top (this will determine where you need to fix the wall profile in Step 3)
• You must ensure the glass runs parallel to the outside edge of the bath before marking the tiled wall with a pencil.
• You will need help to hold the screen in position while you mark the tiled wall and bath top.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Failure to fit the fixed panel to the inside edge of the bath top will result in the bath screen
leaking and will not be covered under the terms of the guarantee.

Step 3 - Fixing the Wall Profile

1. Position the inside edge of the wall profile on the pencil mark you made in Step 2, Line 2
2. Mark the locations for the drill holes using a pencil.
3. Drill 3 holes using a 6mm masonry bit (not supplied). Push the wall plugs (supplied) into the drilled holes.
4. Apply sealant where the bottom of the wall profile will meet the bath top and tiled wall (the width of the wall profile).
5. Screw-Fix the Wall Profile using the 40 mm screws (supplied).
6. Apply Sealant to the inside of the wall profile where it meets the bath.
• The wall profiles must be vertically level. (The bubble should be in the centre of the two lines on the spirit level).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Failure to follow the procedure in steps 4 & 6 can result in serious water damage and is not covered by the guarantee.

Step 4 - Locating and fixing the Folding Bath Screen

1. Offer the bath screen into location on the bath top and in the wall profile.
2. Check to see the glass is sitting fully down on top of the bath top and is parallel to the outside edge of the bath.
3. Drill through the pre-drilled holes of the wall profile using the 3mm drill bit.
4. Screw-Fix the screen to the wall profile using the supplied pan head screws.
5. Push the bottom seal onto the bottom of the folding glass panel (make sure the deflector strip is facing the inside of the bath), ensure the bottom seal is pushed up tight against the vertical magnet and then cut the excess off the bottom seal.
• Please take care when cutting the seal
• You may need help to hold the screen in location while you drill and screw-fix the screen to the wall profile

Step 5 - Fix the Cover Trim and Seal the Folding Bath Screen

1. Clip on the wall profile cover trim. (It is designed to be a tight fit so take care).
2. Place the cover caps on top of the profiles. (R and L on the inside of the caps indicate the handing of the caps looking from the outside of the bath screen).
3. Seal horizontally along the aluminium profile and the glass fixed panel on the outside of the screen where they meet the bath top and tiles.
4. Seal vertically the full length of the wall profile trim where it meets the tiles on the inside of the screen. Also seal vertically the full length of the wall profile where it meets the tiles on the outside of the screen using bathroom sealant.
5. To complete the installation stick on the branding badge.

• IMPORTANT: Failure to follow the procedure on Steps 3 & 4 can result in serious water damage and is not covered by the guarantee.
