Fitting instructions for the Roman Collage Quadrant Shower Enclosure 900mm

1. Check the ‘X’ and ‘Y’ values in the diagram above are within the adjustments of the product, see the following table. Please remember the Product will be fitted 20mm from the front of the
tray, so measure from the wall tiles to this point

2. Ensure the Tray is completely level, check for any movement in the Tray by standing in it. Fill the Tray with water to check all plumbing for leaks.

3. Once tiling and grouting has been completed the Tray should be fully sealed along the tiled walls prior to installation of the Enclosure with a Bathroom Sealant (not supplied). Prior tocommencing installation of the Enclosure and, once the Bathroom Sealant has cured, spray the shower
handset around all joints to check for leaks.
4. Fit both Wall Profilesapprox.20mm in from the front outside edge of the Tray (Figure a4). Ensure both Wall Profiles are completely vertical using a Spirit Level. Mark the slots with a
pencilwheretheWall Profiles are to be positioned(Figurea4i).

5. Wall Profiles will only be completely vertical when the spirit level bubble is in the centre of the two lines as shown in the picture(Figurea5).

6. Drill the wall with a 6mm Masonry Drill Bit (not supplied) where the Wall Profiles (A) are to be positioned (Figure a6). Fit the Wall Plugs (J) (if going into a brick or block wall). If going into
a plasterboard wall you will need to purchase appropriate wall
fixings.Wipe clear all debris from the Tray before referring to the next stage

7. IMPORTANT: Whereboth WallProfiles(A) areto be positioned onto the tray apply a bead of bathroom sealant (not supplied) the width of the Wall Profile along the tiled wall (Figure a7/a7i).
Screw fix both Wall Profiles on to the wall using the 40mm screws (I)(Figurea7ii).

8. Seal the inside gap between the base of the Wall Profiles(A) to the Tray Top with a Bathroom Sealant (not supplied) (Figure a8/a8i)
9. Lay the Bottom Rail(E) onto the floor in fron to fthe tray ensuring
that the smooth outside face of the rail is facing away from the tray.
Assemble the two Fixed Panels(B) to the bottom of the rail as shown in Figure a9 ensuring that the ‘L’ Shaped Seals (G) are placed between the Bottom Rail (E) and the glass.Fix these in place using two 40mm screws(P).
10. Place Top Rail (D) onto assembly and fix into position using 40mm screws(P) (Figurea10).Remove each LHand RH glass clamp in turn and slide ‘L’Shaped Seal (G) between top of Glass Panel (B) and bottom of Top Rail(D) once this is done replace glass clamps.

11. Place Top Rail (D) onto assemblyand fix into position using 40mm screws (P) (Figure a10). Remove each LH and RH glass clamp in turn and slide ‘L’Shaped Seal (G) between top of Glass
Panel(B) and bottom of Top Rail(D) once this is done replace glass clamps.
12. Once the Enclosure is completely vertical and level and an equal gap has been achieved all around the outside of the tray move inside the Enclosure and drill three holes through bothWall
Profiles(A) intoboth FixedPanels(B) with the 2.5mm Drill Bit (H) (Figure a12). The three holes should be drilled 100mm approx. from the top, 100mm approx. from the bottom and one in the
centre.

13.Fix the 9mm Screws (L) into the Base Caps (K) and then screw fix into the holes drilled in Stage 12 with a Screwdriver.Press fit the Coloured Cover Caps (K) over the top of Screw Base Caps once fully tightened (Figurea13i).

14. Move inside the Enclosure and on the bottom rail only apply a thin bead of clear Bathroom Sealant in the corner of both Fixed Panels(B)as shown in (Figurea14) ,then apply a thin bead of clear Bathroom Sealant around the BlackGlass Holding Clamps on both Fixed Panels as shown in Figure a14i.
15. Position one of the Doors (C) into the TopRail (D) with the locking cams in the unlocked position (Figurea15). Rotate the cam until it clicks into the locked position(Figurea15i). At the bottom of the Door push down on both bottom door guides until they click under the lip
on the Bottom Rail(Figurea15ii). To fit the remaining Door in the TopRail please repeat procedure.

16. Fit the Handles (F) ensuring no aluminium touches the glass of both Doors (C). This is achieved using the spacers (F & Q) (Figure a16). The spacers should be placed between the
aluminium and the glass of both doors on assembly. Turn the Handles in opposite direction to each other to tighten.
17. Take the correct handing Top Cap (M) and push fully down into the Fixed Panels (B)(Figurea17/17i)

18. Take the correct handing Clamp Covers (N) and position them over ends of the Fixed Panels (B) (Figurea18/18i).

19. Using a Bathroom Sealant (not supplied) seal both sides of the Wall Profiles (A) vertically to the inside and outside of the Enclosure where they meet the tiles only (Figure a19/a19i).
Then fully seal the Enclosure along the Tray top from the outside only (Figure a19). Please allow 24 hours for the Bathroom Sealant to cure prior to using the Enclosure.

20. Ensurethe Branding Badge (O) (whereapplicable) is positioned on a non moving aluminium part to complete your installation.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Problem Solution
LEAKING 1. Check the Tray has been sealed correctly prior to installation of the enclosure Step 1.
2. Check the inside gap has been sealed correctly between the tray and wall profiles Steps 2 & 5.
3. Check that the base of the enclosure is sealed to the tray top from the outside only Step 7.
4. Check that a bead of silicon the width of the wall profile has been applied Steps 2 & 5.
5. Check to see if both wall profiles have been sealed vertically inside and outside where they meet
the tiled wall Step 7.
6. Check that the base of the enclosure hasn’t been sealed to the tray top on the inside of the cubicle.
Important: This enclosure should be water tested conforming to BS EN 1442
ENCLOSURE ALIGNMENT ON THE TRAY OR FLOOR 1. Check that the enclosure has been fitted onto a tiled wall or a similar sealed surface.
2. Check that the wall profiles have been fitted 15mm in from the front outside edge of the tray Steps 2 & 3.
3. Check that the wall profiles have been fitted completely vertical (the bubble must be in the centre of
the two lines on a spirit level) Steps 2 & 3.
4. Check that the enclosure is completely vertical and level.
DOOR NOT OPERATING / CLOSING CORRECTLY 1. Check that the tray is completely level (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit / level), this could have an effect on the positioning of the door when adjusted, you might not have enough adjustment within the wall profile due to compensating for an out of level tray Step 1.
2. Check that the wall profiles are completely vertical (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit level) Steps 2 & 3.
3. Check the magnets on the door and main frame locate onto each other down the full length Step 4, line 3.
4. The door doesn’t fully close properly, using a spirit level you will need to check the wall profiles,
one of the wall profiles will be moving in the opposite direction to the other wall profile, (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit level) Step 7.
5. If the door springs open, using a spirit level you will need to check the wall profiles are completely vertical, the wall profiles should not be moving in the opposite direction to each other (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit level) Step 7.
GLASS DOOR ALIGNMENT 1. Ensure the tray is completely level (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit level), this could have an effect on the positioning of the door when adjusted, and you might not have enough adjustment Step 1.
2. Ensure both wall profiles are vertical (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit level) Steps 2 & 3.
3. The glass is not sitting parallel in the main frame i.e. equal gap from the top of the glass door to the top rail (adjust the door on the hinge side by pushing the main frame in at the top towards the wall in the wall profile) Step 6 + 7.
4. Ensure the Enclosure is completely vertical and level (the bubble must be in the centre of the two lines on a spirit level).
