Roman Collage Curved Bath Screen Silver

Fitting instructions for the Roman Collage Curved Bath Screen Silver

1. Decide which side of the Bath you want your Curved Bath Screen to be positioned. Fit the inner edge of the Wall Profile (A) 5mm in from the inside edge of the Bath (Figure a1). Ensure the Wall Profile is completely vertical using a Spirit Level. Mark the holes with a pencil where the Wall Profile is to be positioned (Figure a1i).

2. Drill the wall with a 6mm Masonry Drill Bit (not supplied) where the Wall Profile (A) is to be positioned. Fit the Wall Plugs (H) (if going into a brick or block wall). If going into a plasterboard wall you will need to purchase appropriate wall fixings. Wipe clear all debris before referring to the next stage.

3. Where the Wall Profile (A) is to be positioned onto the Bath, place a bead of Bathroom Sealant (not supplied) the width of the Wall Profile along the tiled wall (Figure a3/a3i). Screw fix the Wall Profile to the wall using the 40mm Screws (F). Ensure the Wall Profile stays completely vertical throughout this procedure using a Spirit Level (Figure a3ii). Note: No Bathroom Sealant should be present between the Wall Profile and the tiled wall vertically prior to screw fixing.

4. Seal the gap between the Bath and the Wall Profile (A) with a Bathroom Sealant (not supplied) (Figure a4/a4i). Note: Failure to carry out this procedure correctly can result in serious water damage and is not covered by the 10-year Manufacturer’s Guarantee.

5. Slide the Main Curved Rail (C) over the top of the Wall profile (A) (Figure a5), ensure the Main Curved Rail overlaps the Wall Profile by at least 5mm (Figure a5i). Note: The curved side of the Main Curved Rail should face outside the Bath.

6. Inside the Bath, drill three holes through the Main Curved Rail (C) into the Wall Profile (A) with the 2.5mm Drill Bit (E). The three holes should be drilled through the Main Curved Rail in the pre-drilled holes into the Wall Profile (Figure A6). The Main Curved Rail must remain completely vertical throughout this procedure using a Spirit Level. Screw fix the 9mm Self Tapping Screws (G) into the holes drilled in Figure a6i. Ensure the Screws are fully tightened with a Screwdriver. Note: Before starting this procedure ensure the Bath is completely level, otherwise further adjustment maybe required to ensure the Bottom Seal is slightly depressed onto the Bath top.

7. Remove the Top Swivel Moulding from the top of the Main Curved Rail (C) by loosening the screw with the Allen Key (J) (Figure a7). Locate the Glass Screen (B) over the top of the BottomSwivel Moulding (Figure a7i). Ensure the Glass Screen is pushed fully down over the top of the Bottom Swivel Moulding.

8. Once the Glass Screen (B) is pushed completely down onto the top of the Bottom Swivel Moulding as in Stage 7, fix the Top Swivel Moulding over the top of the Glass Screen and the Main Curved Rail (C) (Figure a8). With the Allen Key (J) secure the Top Swivel Moulding (Figure a8i).

9. Push the Bottom Seal (I) completely onto the Glass Screen (B) (Figure a9). Ensure the small deflector strip on the Bottom Seal faces inwards towards the Bath (Figure a9i). This will enable water to be deflected into your Bath whilst using the shower. Once the Bottom Seal is in place cut to length ensuring the seal does not exceed the length of the Curved Bath Screen. Note: Further adjustment may be required if the Bottom Seal is not slightly depressed onto the Bath top - if required please follow Stage 6. Figure a8 Figure a8i

10. Once satisfied with the installation of your Collage Curved Bath Screen, seal both sides of the Wall Profile (A) inside and outside only where it meets the tiles (Figure a10/a10i). Fully seal the base of the Main Curved Rail along the Bath top from the outside only (Figure a10i). Note: Please allow at least 24 hours for the sealant to cure prior to using your Collage Bath Screen.

11. Once the Bathroom Sealant has cured, press fit the Coloured In- Fill Trim (D) into the vertical groove of the Main Curved Rail (C) (Figure a11) to conceal the 16mm Screws (G) that were screw fixed in Stage 6.

12. Ensure the Branding Badge (K) (if applicable) is placed prominently on a non moving aluminium part.
