Also specified was the Geberit Sovent soil and waste drainage system. The Geberit Sovent single-stack drainage system is designed specifically for use in high-rise buildings as it eliminates the need for a separate vent stack and reduces the diameter of the stacks. The specifically designed branch inlet fitting also reduces the pneumatic pressure fluctuations in stacks, preventing the syphonage of traps.

This is the first UK-based sepcification of Geberit Sovent fittings, which allow the use of smaller diameter soil stack pipes and offet self syphonage from the floats – a particular requirement from the contractor.

The dual-flush cisterns also ensure water comsumption per tenant is minimised.
