Mrs Hiller lives on the 8th floor of a tower block in north London. She’s lived there for 40 years and has no intention of ever giving up the fabulous views of Alexandra Palace to the north and Crystal Palace in the south. For the sake of her extended family and many grand and great grandchildren (pictures of whom appear all over her home), she made up her mind to upgrade her old bathroom to make it more small-children-friendly (and easier to keep clean and tidy). Prompted by her sons, she decided on wall-hung and soon realised that wall-hung meant Geberit.
Miriam liked the idea of saving water with the dual flush and was reassured that any maintenance could easily be carried out via the removable flush plate. Her bathroom, though small and designed in the early 60s was already neat, practical and efficient, so she was pleasantly surprised by the space the modern Geberit system seemed to create and how painless the whole process of converting to wall-hung proved to be. From go-ahead to the day the bathroom was commissioned, the whole process took under two weeks and was far less disruptive than she had ever imagined it might be. Now the bathroom looks noticeably bigger and is certainly much easier to keep presentable, even after the ravages of the family visits which, needless to say, continue unabated.
