Aquaflo Waterfall Mini Mono Basin Mixer (Complete With Waste)
After looking carefully at different enclosures on the internet, I ordered the Waterlux Quadrant Shower enclosure from firstbathrooms. The pictures on their website were very professional and the design of the handles and the chrome effect door runners were what I was looking for. I was not disappointed! Smooth running doors and nice chrome effect. Waterlux Quadrant Shower Enclosure 900mm

Cheap Bath Screens
Prices can vary considerably between the ranges and as with most things it is probably advisable to get the best you can afford within your budget. Most manufacturers of shower screens have a budget or value range and also offer a premium range of screen.
Styles of bath screens
Bath screens come in two main types - Fixed panel bath screens and folding bath screens - and there are several shapes and sizes of screens within these categories. Fixed panel screens are attached to the wall via a channel and then can pivot outwards (and sometimes inwards) to allow for entry and cleaning of the bath and screen. The channels are usually chrome or white although in some countries where gold is still quite popular in bathroom design the channel can have a gold finish. A seal runs horizontally along the bottom of the screen and it is the which prevents water running down the screen and out along the out side of the bath.
Below is an example of a folding bath screen (in this instance a 4 fold bath screen) and a fixed panel bath screen (on the right).
Materials Used in Bath Screens
Bath screens are comprised of toughened safety glass (to BS 6262) and are either clear or frosted glass (or a mixture of the two to create a pattern or semi-shielded effect). The bottom seal is usually comprised of a plasticised rubber material and the chrome channel strip is usually aluminium and then coated in the desired finish.
Manufacturers of Bath Screens
Bath screens are manufactured by most showering and bath companies, the list below contains the primary manufacturers:
Cleaning your bath screen need not be a chore, just a simple wipe over on a daily basis should be enough to ensure your screen and it's fitting and fixings remain as good as the day you purchased them. Be careful not to use any cleaning agents which may scratch the glass (for example never use scouring powder). Cream cleansers are excellent for glass surfaces as these are gentler on the surface while still being able to remove tough stains and greasy films. Vinegar is also an option for glass but some people don't like the lingering after smell. Finally bring your screen to a stunning polish by buffing it with a polishing mitten (you can buy these from car accessory shops).
