Sliding shower doors are great for bathrooms where the shower tray is in an awkward to get to place or a confined area. They are an excellent alternative to the pivot door in these circumstances. If it is impracticle or just not desired to have a pivot door then a sliding door is the best choice.

A sliding doors removes any risk of the door knocking into anything (or anyone!) in your bathroom.

Like anything, your sliding door will require maintenance and general cleaning in order to keep it working as required, but don't worry the procedure is quick and straight forward and will soon become a part of your regular cleaning routine. Sliding Shower Doors UK

Sliding shower doors usually comprise of materials and components from around the globe. Companies such as Coram Sliding Shower Doors assemble all of their sliding doors in the UK while other companys outsource their assembly to a variety of geographic locations. The important thing to consider is that wherever your door is manufactured or assembled there are always suitable supplies of spare parts in the UK should you ever require them (replacement runners for example).

Frameless Sliding Shower Doors

As with everything, styles and fashions in bathrooms change and this is reflected in styles of sliding shower doors. The biggest difference is whether the door has a "frame" around it or now more popularly a "frameless door". This is where the outerframe is kept to either a minimum or even no frame at all. The picture below shows a completely frameless showe door.

As you can see above, along the top of the door there is no frame whatsoever, creating a minimal look to the entire door.
